The Overcomers LLC (“The Overcomers,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through our website and coaching services, how we use it, and how you can contact us with questions about your information.

Depending on how you interact with The Overcomers, we may collect:

  • Contact information: Your name, email address, phone number, and information you submit through our website, newsletter forms, or appointment scheduler.

  • Booking and payment information: Appointment dates, selected coaching program, invoices, payment status, and related transaction records. Payments are processed through third-party providers; we do not need your full payment-card number to administer your coaching program.

  • Coaching information: Information you voluntarily share during intake, assessments, preparation exercises, and coaching sessions. This may include personal goals, personality and temperament results, and information about relationships or family dynamics.

  • Website usage information: Information such as browser type, device information, pages visited, and website interactions collected through cookies or analytics tools.

We ask that you avoid submitting sensitive medical, financial, or other personal information that is unnecessary for coaching.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use personal information to:

  • Respond to inquiries and schedule free Exploration Calls.

  • Determine whether our coaching services are an appropriate fit.

  • Administer purchased coaching programs, assessments, and digital reports.

  • Schedule appointments and send confirmations, reminders, and program-related communications.

  • Process payments and maintain necessary business records.

  • Operate, maintain, and improve our website and services.

  • Send newsletters or promotional emails when you have signed up to receive them.

We do not use information shared privately during coaching to create public testimonials or marketing content without appropriate permission.

3. Coaching and Assessment Privacy

We recognize that coaching conversations and personality assessments may involve personal information.

We make reasonable efforts to limit access to coaching records and use them only for legitimate coaching and business purposes. Coaching is not licensed therapy, and coaching communications do not necessarily receive the legal privileges that apply to certain licensed professional relationships.

Each participating adult receives their own official Keirsey digital report. We do not automatically share one adult’s individual report with another participant simply because they are enrolled in the same couples or family coaching program.

We may disclose information when required or permitted by law, including where appropriate to address serious safety concerns.

4. Third-Party Service Providers

We use service providers to operate our website and deliver coaching services. These include:

  • Squarespace and Acuity Scheduling for website hosting, appointment scheduling, and related functions.

  • Google Workspace and Google Meet for business communication and online appointments.

  • Keirsey assessment services to administer assessments and provide reports.

  • Payment processors to collect payments and maintain transaction records.

These providers may process information necessary to perform services on our behalf and may have their own privacy policies. We may also use other providers for business functions such as email delivery and recordkeeping.

We do not sell information shared during coaching to data brokers or advertisers. We do not provide clients’ assessment reports or private coaching information to advertisers for targeted advertising.

5. Cookies and Website Analytics

Our website may use cookies and similar technologies to support website functionality, understand site traffic, and improve visitors’ experience.

Squarespace uses necessary cookies and may use analytics cookies depending on the website’s configuration. Third-party content or tools embedded on the site may also use cookies.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings and any cookie preferences provided on our website. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality.

6. Email Communications

If you book an appointment or enroll in coaching, we may send you appointment confirmations, reminders, assessment instructions, invoices, and other messages necessary to provide the services you requested.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, we may also send educational content, business updates, and promotional emails. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link provided in those messages.

Unsubscribing from marketing emails will not prevent us from sending necessary appointment or service-related communications.

7. Information Security and Retention

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect personal information. However, no website, email service, video platform, or electronic storage system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and meet applicable legal obligations.

When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete it or otherwise dispose of it appropriately, subject to applicable retention requirements and the capabilities of our service providers.

8. Your Privacy Choices

You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we maintain about you.

We will review and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. Some information may need to be retained for legitimate business, contractual, or legal reasons.

You may also unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time.

9. Children’s Privacy

Our website and individual coaching programs are not directed to children.

Minors may participate in family coaching only with appropriate parent or legal guardian consent. We collect information about minors only as reasonably necessary for their agreed-upon participation and handle that information with appropriate care.

Parents or legal guardians may contact us with questions about information relating to a minor in their care.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technology, or legal requirements. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
